Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026. Skylines.fyi is an independent fan site about Cities: Skylines. We collect as little as possible.

What we collect without asking

There are no accounts, forms or comments. Like any web server, ours keeps technical logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type, time) for security and to keep the site running. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not shared. We also store your cookie choice in your browser (local storage) so we do not ask again; it expires after 12 months.

Statistics and advertising (only with your consent)

If you click Accept all, or tick a category after Choose, the site may load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (audience statistics) and advertising scripts such as Google AdSense. These providers may set cookies or read identifiers on your device and process data such as your IP address and pages viewed, according to their own policies. Nothing from these providers is requested before you choose. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

Links to other sites

Pages contain links to stores (for example Steam) and to support pages (for example Buy Me a Coffee). Some links may be affiliate links, which is stated next to them; we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those sites have their own privacy practices and only receive data when you click.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example Quebec's Law 25, the GDPR in Europe), you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, or withdraw consent. Use the contact details given on the About page.
